Global Co-ordination and Propaganda

The Wah Yan International Conference is a global event. Our organizing committee members were endeavouring to let other parts of the world well-informed of the event.

Stephen Yow and Eric Chan (representatives from Toronto) met with Hugo Hung (WYHKPSA Past President) and Nick Tsui (WYHKPSA Vice Chairman) over breakfast on 16 Mar 2002 in Hong Kong. The latest news regarding the Wah Yan International Conference 2002, to be held in Toronto June 29 to July 2, were exchanged. "To celebrate its 20th anniversary, the Wah Yan College (Hong Kong) Ontario Alumni Association will raise HK$200,000 to support the Jesuit Education Fund of the School," said Eric.

International Networking Committee (INC) Dinner

The dinner was attended by PSA members of both schools in Hong Kong and many overseas members. PSA members are Michael Au (President of WYHKPSA), Nelson Ho (President of WYKPSA), K.K. Lam (Vice President of WYHKPSA), Dominic Lee (Vice Chairman of WYKPSA), and Peter Tam (Chairman of WYHKPSA), to name a few. The overseas members are Gavin Lam (the INC Chairman from LA), Albert Law (President of Michigan Chapter), Raymond Tam (President of UK Chapter), and Kelvin Tsang (President of Ontario HK Chapter).

Gavin distributed the latest INC newsletter which is online at http://inc.wahyan.com. Kelvin briefed the party on the preparation of the 2002 International Conference to be held in Toronto on 29 June - 2 July 2002. He asked the crowd to help in promoting the event.
